During a regular gas safety inspection, a number of checks will be made to make sure that your home appliances and gas equipment are safe for use. Our Gas Safe expert will check your boiler and the hot water cylinder (if you have one). While the gas safety inspector may not be able to carry out certain repairs on the spot, the inspector will check gas equipment such as gas cookers and ovens, gas mains, gas lines and any other equipment or appliance that uses gas to function.
If any equipment is deemed unsafe, that equipment will be disconnected from the gas mains as a security measure, and you will be informed so that you can have it serviced by a Gas Safe engineer.
