We offer a range of boilers to suit the customer needs, whether it is for your own home, a development or investment property. One of our Installation Managers will complete a site visit and give you a full quotation. There are many factors to take into consideration when installing a new boiler due to regulations set by Gas Safe. We are unable to give an accurate quote without a site visit. All our boiler replacement quotes include a full system powerflush with chemicals worth £300.00 + VAT

Please be aware of Cow Boy Gas fitters. Make sure you check for a Gas Safe Register ID card and make sure he or she carries the work out and nobody else.

Plumbing on tap offers free estimates and quotes on all new work, for example a replacement boiler or new heating system, new bathroom suite or shower? If you are looking at having some work carried out on your own home, investment property or development we can give you a fixed price with no hidden extras.

New Heating System:

It is important that a new heating system is designed to your taste and requirements. One of our Installation Managers will complete a site visit and go through all your ideas and needs, this will help design the best heating system for you and your home. We work with many different suppliers to ensure you have a wide range of boilers, radiators and valves to choose from.

Diagnostics:

Do you have a plumbing or heating problem? No hot water? No heating? No pilot light? No pressure? Is your toilet not flushing properly or do you have a leak for example?

A diagnosis fee does apply for all appointments but this includes up to one hours labour for the repair on that day. There is NO CALL OUT FEE, we simply charge for the diagnostic and repair on a fixed hourly rate so there are no hidden costs.

We can come to your property and run diagnostics on the reported problem. On many occasions we can repair the fault within one hour, especially as all our vans are fully stocked with universal parts and materials. (Any materials or parts used will be added on top of the diagnostic fee)

If the problem cannot be fixed within the first hour of diagnostics our plumber or heating engineer will provide a quotation for the required works.

Repairs:

We try our hardest to repair your problem as quickly and as affordable as possible. Sometimes we can not fix your problem within the first hour of diagnostics. If the time goes into a second hour we reduce the rate by a massive 25% (second hour only). If a part or product needs replacing please see below:

Replacement parts:

Any new parts or materials will be charged accordingly on top of our labour rate for diagnostics and repairs. Our vans are fully stocked with universal parts and materials, when a specific part is needed we will get a price for you and quote to replace the part. Should you accept the quote, our office will arrange a convenient new appointment to carry out the repair works.

Please note that with boilers, after one specific part has been changed it may lead to another fault within the boiler. We will quote again for the next repair or part replacement from site prior to any works commencing.

Bathroom Suite:

The bathroom should be a place in which you can feel relaxed and at peace. In a lot of homes, it seems that the original designers squeezed the bathroom into the smallest possible space. One of our Installation Managers will carry out a site visit and go through what you desire and help design the best possible bathroom suite for you and your home.

If the property is rented out to tenants we also offer affordable durable options.

We can quote for tiling the suite also.

Power flush

Plumbing on Tap do not cut any corners on a powerflush! A full day is spent flushing the system and using the best chemicals. We clean through the central heating system pipe work and all central heating radiators at the property. Only one radiator must be taken off the wall in order for the powerflush to take place..
